INTRO
Bear the sight of these body ridden corridors
Covered in the dreams of lives long forgot
Dragging you down into endless despair
Sleepless eyes watch your every clumsy faltering move
Clawing and grasping reaching for ahold
No end is in sight that is what you were told
VERSE
Running in this dreamscape trying to fight your own tears
No one is in sight no one to wipe your tears
You’re all alone in this foreign world
Showing your true self for all to behold
CHORUS
You can try to run and hide from your old scarred life
But your legs won't carry you far enough away
INTERLUDE
Break under the weight
Of your own mind
Feel your bones break
BREAK!
INTERLUDE 2
The curtain closes on your life
Broken back, no more will to fight
You gave up, like i knew you would
Swallowed by the darkness given up for good should have listened while you fucking could
CHORUS
You can try to run and hide from your old scarred life
But your legs won't carry you far enough away X2
Do you hear the sound, the sound of your conscience
Telling you to finally change your ways, change your ways
It’s already too late
You should have listened long ago
MAybe then you wouldn't be in this state.

INTRO
I left my home behind, for a foreign land
Sent to fight for freedom
Or at least that's what I was lead to believe
PRE VERSE
What is the price?
Of our far flung meddling
What is the price?
Of the pain we’ve created
VERSE
What kind of name have we made for ourselves
Lighting the sky with white phosphorus shells
The divide between our people will last for centuries to come
Will our leaders never see what the hell that we’ve done
PRE CHORUS
Eight long years
Of fighting Ghosts
Eight long years
Of lost hope
CHORUS
Thousands of soldiers have gave their lives
So hundreds thousands more could meet their demise
Indiscriminate killing of civilian souls
Under the pretense of securing their homes
VERSE 2
What kind of name have we made for ourselves
Lighting the sky with white phosphorus shells
The divide between our people will last for centuries to come
Will our leaders never see what the hell that we’ve done
The most tragic effect of this war we went and made
Is the frailty that we recklessly spawned
The collapse of the nations
The displacement of the people
Given birth to a new kind of evil

Awaken upon an empty plain
past thoughts creep upon you, you feel a pain
shooting down your spine, in the back of your head
no soul in sight, you should be dead
Only moments before this, do you recall
being hunted for the very beat of your heart
but now you're all alone left by the very wraiths , that would see your body torn apart
endless sands and howling winds are your only
company in this hellscape, how did you end up here
All alone looking for the only means of escape
After countless days of searching far
You stumble upon this hidden place
Except you come to find its been left behind
And its inhabitants left without a trace
You’re despair grows as you come to see
You’ve been left here to die in agony
This ancient place, it fills you with dread
Right now you’d rather be dead
You venture onward
and now to your regret
a new realm awaits you
its not over yet
a blackened landscape
charred and smoking ground
at the end stands a figure
knelt down with his head bowed
Falter X2
He slowly rises
As he turns you come to realize this
the face looking back is your own
From him is only one spoken word
“forsaken” rolls off his lips
you feel the cold hand of deaths grip X2
as you fall to your knees X2
loneliness embraces thee
